Now isn't that a striking difference in belly color? Unfortunately this lady with the black belly did not breed this year. I have found a mate for her with a similar belly, and hopefully, 2003 will produce some babies and determine the genetic tendency of this coloring. This black belly is NOT typical coloring. It is only seen every once in a great while, and usually not to this extent.
