The wide color variation of normal Rubber Boas. From the pink babies, to tan, all the way to dark
chocolate brown. Note: all of these individuals were found in one locality. Color variation is
not only large between locations, but within locations also. The dark individuals are nearing
their next shed, and perhaps have not shed since emerging from hibernation, hence their dark color as compared to others from the same area. But this dark chocolate is common as a permanent color.
